• Sue or be sued
• Continue regardless of change to membership.
More about the NSW Fair Trading can be found on their website http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/.

Changes to Constitutions etc.
Research indicates that Shed Constitutions need to include in their Objects specific medical conditions eg: Dementia and not just a generic “Men’s Health”.
Morpeth are amending their constitution objects to read in part “The objects of Morpeth Men’s Shed are to promote the health of our members specifically targeting Mental Health (eg: Dementia and Depression)~”
Also all funds raised must be used to promote the objects of the shed.
More will be discussed on this matter as information becomes available.

Volunteer Insurance
AMSA advises
“There are significant enhancements to the policy this year, including, but not limited to, the raising of the age limit for members to and including 94. It is recommended you read the appropriate schedules.” for more on this subject, click here http://www.mensshed.org/insurance/.aspx
